Meet Shannon

How did I become an Ibogaine Integration Coach? In 2006, Ibogaine saved me from a severe problem with alcohol, allowing me to achieve long term sobriety from it. My entire life changed.

Inspired by what had happened to me, I began a Master’s program in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute that summer. I also began a lifelong connection with the medicine. I wrote my Master’s thesis on Ibogaine, entitled “Ibogaine: A Doorway out of Addiction”.

Between 2007 and 2017, I co-owned a home in Mexico. That house was used as a highly respected Ibogaine treatment center, run by caring and thoughtful providers who taught me so much about the medicine. That business still operates today in a different city in Mexico.

In 2009 I attended the first ever Ibogaine convention, held in Sayulita, Mexico, which was graced by the presence of Mr. Howard Lotsof, the former patent holder of Ibogaine, and a Pioneer in trying to make Ibogaine legal in the U.S for decades. Sadly he passed away soon after, but his work lives on in all of the providers he touched.

In 2012, I began working with patients who had just undergone Ibogaine treatment at clinics in Tijuana and in Rosarito, Mexico. I have continued to improve my approach over the years, helping clients to bridge the gap between deep insights from the medicine, and sustainable, real change.

I also work in a residential drug and alcohol facility in California. I am grateful to work with addicts every day, however they are finding their way to sobriety. It helps with my own recovery.

Ibogaine can help with more than addictions. If you are taking Ibogaine for other issues, such as PTSD or psychospiritual purposes, my system of examining your Ibogaine experience is universal and helpful for any issue you’re dealing with.

Taking the medicine is only the beginning—the magic continues to happen during a window of time that opens in the weeks and months that follow your treatment. It helps to have an experienced guide help you to create a guidebook to navigate the journey.

As an Ibogaine Integration Coach, my goal is to be the bridge between the experience and you gaining personal insights and concrete tools to move forward with your new life.
