Meet Shannon
With nearly two decades of experience in Ibogaine integration, I help individuals make sense of their experiences and translate insights into meaningful change.
A Personal Journey That Became a Lifelong Calling
In 2006, Ibogaine changed my life. After struggling with severe alcohol addiction, I experienced a profound transformation that allowed me to achieve long-term sobriety.
That experience inspired me to pursue a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I wrote my thesis, "Ibogaine: A Doorway Out of Addiction." What began as a personal journey became a lifelong commitment to understanding the medicine and helping others navigate their own paths toward healing.
Nearly Two Decades of Learning and Experience
01.
My relationship with Ibogaine extends beyond my personal recovery. Between 2007 and 2017, I co-owned a home in Mexico that operated as an Ibogaine treatment center, where I learned from experienced and compassionate providers.
In 2009, I attended the first Ibogaine convention in Sayulita, Mexico, where I had the opportunity to connect with pioneers in the field, including Howard Lotsof.
These experiences deepened my understanding of the medicine, its history, and the importance of thoughtful support throughout the healing process.
02.
In 2012, I began working directly with individuals following Ibogaine treatment at clinics in Tijuana and Rosarito, Mexico. Since then, I have continued developing an approach to integration that helps clients explore their experiences, recognize meaningful insights, and translate them into practical steps for everyday life.
I also work in a residential drug and alcohol recovery facility in California, supporting individuals through different stages of their recovery journeys. This work continues to inform my understanding of addiction, resilience, and the many paths toward sobriety.
03.
Ibogaine experiences can raise questions and insights that extend beyond addiction recovery. Whether your experience relates to PTSD, personal development, or spiritual exploration, integration offers an opportunity to reflect on what emerged and consider how it connects to your life.
My approach is centered on helping you make sense of your experience, identify personal goals, and develop tools that support meaningful change beyond the treatment itself.
My Philosophy: The Journey Continues
The weeks and months following an Ibogaine experience can be an important time for reflection, learning, and personal growth. Integration coaching provides a space to explore your insights, establish meaningful goals, and create a practical guide for moving forward.
My goal is to bridge the gap between the Ibogaine experience and everyday life, helping you develop the awareness and tools to build a path forward that feels authentic to you.
